Judges
My name is Réka Balogh-Nagy.
I live in Gyula, and I have a wonderful little daughter and five dogs who are part of my everyday life and my family.
I’ve loved dogs since I was a child — I first went to dog school when I was about seven years old, and agility has been my greatest enthusiasm ever since.
I am the proud leader of my own agility team, with whom I share a close and supportive relationship.
I’ve been working as a judge for nearly ten years now. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel to many countries both as a competitor and as a judge, but judging in my hometown is always the dearest to me.
It is a great honor for me to judge again at the Medivid Cup.
Two years ago, I had an amazing time working with a fantastic team, and I’m already really looking forward to the 2026 competition.
I wish everyone good preparation and many joyful runs!
It is heartwarming that I can be a part of the Medivid Cup in Gyula as a judge again, and this time we celebrate its 30th birthday! I have been coming to the magical events of Sándor Alt and his forever team for about the same time. I first came as a little girl, with my cocker Philip, and I was happy to return, whether to do sports again, accompany the Italian IMCA/Junior teams as an interpreter or as a judge. The warm welcome, the festive atmosphere, the fabulous Gyula castle, the great dog walking locations around the competition areas always captivated me.
I can’t wait to relive the Gyula agility experience, and serve the magical birthday with my course plans and judging! Dear Visitors, I wish you a memorable weekend, with experiences marked by endless love! And what else could I wish for the competitors: live complete harmony, live the flow while running with your dogs, read each other’s every vibe correctly – that’s what agility is all about, afterall! May your dreams come true, may you achieve the goals you have set for yourselves! My dream is to give you all the support you need on the track. Let’s put a smile on people’s faces and a happy waggling, with shining eyes on the dogs! See you all in Gyula!
With love:
Zsófi Bíró
